Getting Here & Parking
- We have two designated accessible parking spaces located approximately 20 metres from the entrance, down a slight hill.
- Guests can use our drop-off point at the front of the pub for easier access.
- Solo travellers can press our call button, and a team member will come outside to assist.
- Public transport: A bus stop is just 0.1 miles away, and buses will stop directly outside the pub upon request.

Step-Free Access & Mobility Support
- Level access is available from the main entrance to the bar, restaurant, accessible bedroom, accessible toilet, and covered smoking area.
- A lift provides step-free access to the first floor, where the accessible bedroom and another step-free room are located.
- We also provide a pager system, allowing guests who require additional assistance to contact the pub manager directly.

Accessible Bedrooms & Bathrooms
- Our dedicated accessible bedroom includes: A minimum 750mm-wide route for easy wheelchair access.
- Non-allergenic bedding.
- An emergency assistance system next to the bed.
- A level-access en-suite bathroom with a roll-in shower.
- We also offer a step-free bedroom with a walk-in shower (not fully wheelchair-adapted), accessible via the lift and first-floor exit.

Toilets & Facilities
- Our accessible toilet includes: Grab rails for support.
- An emergency cord for assistance.
- Lowered mirrors and facilities for ease of use.

Dining & Menu Accessibility
- In our bar area, we have six wheelchair-accessible tables.
- Booth seating is available, with the option to sit at the end of the table for better accessibility.
- Guests using wheelchairs can either stay in their chair or transfer—our team is happy to assist with seating arrangements.
- We provide large-print menus upon request.
- Our menus use clear, easy-to-read fonts for better readability.
- Our staff are fully trained in accessibility awareness and can sit down with guests who require additional assistance navigating the menu or making meal choices.
- Online menu access: Our menu is available online, allowing guests to use screen readers or pinch-to-zoom for better readability.
- We have a blender and a safe blended food policy for guests who struggle to chew or swallow whole foods.

Hearing & Visual Accessibility
- Our fire alarm system includes flashing lights for guests with hearing impairments.
- TVs in our bedrooms have subtitle options.
- We use high-contrast walls and doors to assist visually impaired guests.
- We provide lower-lit areas in both the pub and hotel for guests sensitive to bright lighting.

Service Animals & Assistance Dogs
- We are a fully dog-friendly venue, making us naturally more suitable for individuals with assistance dogs.
- Guide dogs and assistance animals are always welcome, and we’re happy to provide water bowls and additional assistance as needed.

- Guests can request specific accessibility features when booking a hotel room or restaurant table. Please add any accessibility needs in the booking notes, or contact us directly so we can accommodate you as best as possible.

Website & Digital Accessibility
- Our website is screen reader-friendly and regularly updated with alt text for images.
We are working on improving alt text descriptions for all images to enhance accessibility.
- Our email communications are sent in plain text, ensuring they are easy to read and compatible with assistive technology.
- Our website uses clear, readable fonts, and we are reviewing contrast and navigation for further improvements.
- Online menus are available to support screen readers and zoom functionality.
